# How do I update user permissions in Under?

## Discover the process of modifying user permissions within Under.

To update user permissions in your Under account, follow these steps:

1. Access the **Settings** by clicking on your initials located at the bottom left of the sidebar.
2. On the **Settings** page, navigate to the **Permissions** tab
3. From the **Permissions** tab, select the product where you would like to change permissions (Settings, PDF Mapping, Integrations, Customers, Applications), then view the individual actions.
4. **Check** or **Uncheck** the box associated with the action you want to update alongside each user role.

As a rule of thumb, the amount of permissions go from *least to most* starting with a **Limited** user, then working up to a **Master Admin** who is always able to access everything within their account.
