How do I set up a 'Same As' field?

Discover how to effortlessly configure a 'Same As' field for seamless data transfer between fields.

To set up a 'Same As' field in the application editor, follow these steps:

  1. In the Application Editor, add or select a 'Same As' field to open the field editor on the right-hand side panel.
  2. On the field editor, click the Values tab.
  3. In the Values tab of the field editor, add a Label which will act as a checkbox to confirm whether or not the customer will want to copy information from one area to another.
  4. Underneath the new 'Same As' field in the main application editor, click the + button located below 'Get started by adding your first option'. This will allow you to connect one field to another.
  5. From the Copy From dropdown, select a field, and then select a field from the Copy To dropdown to establish the connection between the two fields.
  6. If necessary, repeat steps 4-5 as many times as needed to achieve your desired outcome.

Fields in the Copy From dropdown need to be before the 'Same As' field, and fields in the Copy To dropdown need to be after the 'Same As' field.

The two fields that get connected in the Copy From and Copy To field dropdowns need to be the same field type to work correctly.
