How do I create a new application?

How to create a new application from the applications homepage and gain a clear understanding of the various application templates.

To create a new application in Under, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Create button at the top right of the page, then select Application.
  2. Once you select Application, the application template selector will show in the middle of the page. Select the template you would like to utilize, then click Continue.
  3. Provide a name for the application, then click Create Application.

At the moment, there are three different application templates you can choose from:

  1. Pre-Application
  2. Lead Form
  3. Test Application


This is the application template that we would recommend for most applications. With the pre-application, you are able to attach PDFs to gather eSignature, request supporting documents, and run identity verification integrations.

Lead Form

The lead form template is a quick lead generation tool intended to gather a prospective client's contact information and can be embedded on a website. This template can also be tied to an existing pre-application.

When a lead form template is completed, the contact information from the applicant automatically creates a customer record in the pre-application tied to the lead form.

Test Application

The test application template should only be used for internal tests to quickly demo our built-in identity verification integrations without incurring fees.

Test applications emulate identity response and do not require MFA via text. We do not recommend that you utilize this template for live customers.
