# How do I copy customer information to another application?

## Discover the process of transferring customer data from one application to another.

To transfer customer information from one application to another, follow these steps:

1. Go to the **Customers** homepage, then select the application that you would like to copy/clone.
2. Click on the **Options (3 dots)** button at the far right side of the application's row, then click **Copy Data**.
3. Click **Copy data to new application**, then select the application that you would like to transfer your existing customer information.
4. After selecting the new application, click **Copy Data**.

Keep in mind that choosing a different application may affect the fields transferring from the original application if the field keys do not match.

Since this creates a duplicate customer record, you can also refer back to the original customer record to gather the existing customer data, documents, and integration results (if applicable).
