How do I add an internal signature to the PDF?

Discover how to incorporate an internal signature field into your PDF form, enabling you to sign prior to sending an application to a customer.

To add a signature field, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the PDF Mapping homepage, then select and open the mapped PDF that you would like to edit.
  2. On the left-hand sidebar, open the Custom Fields panel, then open the PDF Field Generators panel.
  3. Click the Agent Signature field to select it, then move your cursor to the PDF and click again to add the new agent signature field.
  4. Click anywhere on the PDF to confirm the new field addition, re-size the field, then click Save.

These fields allow you to sign prior to sending an application to a customer. To sign where an agent signature is added, create a customer, open the PDF Authoring tab, click click to sign.

Do not change the form field name for agent signature fields. If changed, the signature will not render correctly and will cause issues during the eSignature process.
